Rachel Ho Bio

Rachel Ho, our Grant and Program Services Manager, has a Masters Degree in International Relations from East Carolina University. She worked in higher education for 4 years, managing an International Student recruitment program at Truman State University, which involved extensive international travel. She then transitioned to the humanitarian world, working for 3 years in safe homes for women who have been sexually exploited through prostitution or trafficking both internationally and domestically. Following that, she served as the Operations Manager and Senior Project Analyst for 5 years for a humanitarian grant program helping to facilitate a process that provided grants to organizations responding to natural disaster relief, combatting human trafficking, domestic violence, poverty related issues and war-related issues. That organization distributed up to $1.5M each year for 16 years across a total of 17 countries. In 2021, Rachel helped to launch Third Ladder where she now serves as the Program Director.

Rachel loves traveling, connecting with friends, and spending time outdoors with her family – hiking, camping, and kayaking are some of her favorite things. She also loves finding hole in the wall ethnic places with her husband. She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and their two children.
